vivo V80 8GB + 128GB overview
The vivo V80 is a premium V-series phone built around a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with up to 144Hz refresh, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, a 7200mAh battery with 90W FlashCharge, and a ZEISS-focused camera system.
Camera and display
The rear setup combines a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700V main camera with OIS, a 50MP Sony IMX882 3x telephoto camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. A 50MP autofocus front camera handles selfies and group portraits. The AMOLED display reaches 2750 × 1260 resolution with up to 144Hz refresh and high outdoor peak brightness.
Who should consider the 128GB variant?
This is the lowest-priced V80 configuration and is the best fit for buyers who primarily stream media, use cloud storage and do not keep large local photo or video libraries. Heavy 4K video users should consider 256GB or 512GB instead.
Important trade-offs
The V80 uses USB 2.0 for wired data transfer and its 203g body is not especially light. The 128GB model also offers the least storage headroom for 4K video and large games.
